Dream Books and Videos
As a member of the International Association of the Study of Dreams (IASD), I help them maintain various lists of books and videos about
dreams. I invite you to visit the ASD site and peruse the many titles you'll find there.

Recent Dream Research Publications
This is a fairly thorough list of recent (mostly scientific) publications about dreams from a variety of journals and magazines.  Sometimes I
come across a particularly good one about sleep, and will include it here also.

Links
Here are some of my favorite dream related websites. Some of them are very informational - great resources. Some of them are simply
fun.

International Association for the Study of Dreams
The International Association for the Study of Dreams is an international organization made up of sleep scientists, physicians,
psychiatrists and psychologists, academics, authors, and PEOPLE WHO SIMPLY LOVE DREAMS. I invite you to visit their website at
www.asdreams.org. You will be amazed at the wealth of information, but fun and useful, that they offer to visitors. However, one of the
most important things in my mind is our
Ethics Statement. I practice dreamwork by this code because I think it is so important for the
people I work with. I invite you to read it.

Dream Recall
I have people tell me all the time that they don't dream. That's a misconception. Only about 5% of the population doesn't dream. It's more
likely that you simply don't recall your dreams. They are lots of things that you can do to improve your dream recall. Some are easier than
others, some are more effective than others. It's an individual thing. Here is a list of
Dream Recall Tips that I've collected from numerous
dream scientists, authors, and professional dreamworkers. Be gentle with yourself. Don't expect miraculous results on the first attempt of
any one technique. Remember, it takes 21 days to create a habit. It also takes habitual effort to see the maximum results from these tips.

Sleep Hygiene
Funny term isn't it? As a sleep scientist I learned that this is what other sleep scientists and sleep doctors call good sleeping habits. If you
don't recall many of your dreams, one of the first things you should look at is your sleep hygiene. I've collected here a long list of
Recommendations for Quality Sleep made by sleep physicians and scientists on ways to improve the quality of your sleep. By maximizing
the quality of your sleep, you can also maximize your dream time, and hopefully increase your dream recall.

"Anne is a highly experienced
and deeply sensitive
dreamworker. She is familiar
with the leading scientific
theories about dreams, and
yet she is also aware of the
profound spiritual wisdom
that dreams can bring us.
Anyone who attends her
groups or lectures will gain
exciting new insights into the
power of dreaming to
promote health, creativity,
and spiritual discovery."

"Over the period of a year, I
met with Anne 8-12 times to
share and discuss the
psychological and spiritual
significance of my dreams.
Anne walked with me
through this process offering
insight and wisdom, while
offering assurance to me that
only I truly know the
meaning of my own dreams. I
found her style in working
with me to be professional
(yet ministerial),
compassionate and holistic."

JK, professor of theology
"I think we dream so we don't have to
be apart so long. If we're in each others
dreams, we can play all night ."
Calvin and Hobbes, Bill Watterson
